Cybersecurity Speaking Engagements February 1 – 5

At this point, data protection is a critical issue facing enterprises both large and small throughout the world. It should certainly be on your radar in China. In fact, we think that these considerations will likely define, or at least impact most of the global commercial landscape for the foreseeable future. So, whether your company has a thousand employees, or just 10, you need to reconsider how you handle these issues.
Against this background, DaWo’s Cybersecurity and Data Counsel Nathaniel Rushforth (US Attorney with a computer science and cybersecurity background) will be participating in some interesting speaking engagements over the next week. First, he will be speaking via Zoom at a private event for international students working towards advanced degrees in law with cybersecurity specializations, discussing his experiences as an international practitioner in China.
After that, on February 4th, he will speak at a public event touching on many of the same key issues, but also including more practical, everyday considerations and various case studies. If you are in Shanghai, please join us. Registration information for that event is below.

As always, if you have any questions about these issues, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team.
